Ghizlane Eddiouani, Sales Associate Little Venice Cake Company

Ghizlane Eddiouani, the detail-oriented Sales Associate at Little Venice Cake Company (LVCC), was born and raised in Morocco, and left her home country to take up the position at Atlantis The Royal. Moroccans are known for their hospitability, and they like to treat guests with extreme care, says Ghizlane.

“Working in the hospitality industry makes me very happy. I am excited to start my workday, as each day brings something new. Getting to meet guests and even Colleagues from all over the world continues to amaze me. Meeting people from all walks of life inspires me to learn and build upon the essential skills necessary for my development and progression into a role with more responsibility.

Prior to joining Atlantis, I worked at The Oberoi Marrakech. My time at Oberoi was my first experience working at a hotel and it was a fruitful one. Here, I was also part of the pre-opening team, which for me is the best way to learn. I trained across various departments from finance to in-room dining and banqueting. It was amazing to learn new skills and understand how other departments work – not to mention the importance of uniting as one team. We all became a family, from the most senior directors to us colleagues, sharing meals together, creating memories and working towards the same goal. The long hours didn’t even matter because we did everything with passion. It is much like the values we have here at Atlantis, and I was honoured to be part of the ATR pre-opening team.

I wanted to be a flight attendant growing up so I could meet new people and discover new cultures. This is why working in the hospitality industry makes me happy – I get to experience my childhood dream.” Ghizlane is engaged and her family, whom she supports, lives back in Morocco. The values she admires most in people are humility, honesty, respectfulness, compassion, integrity and generosity.
